The Friends of the Radcliffe Quarter were delighted to support the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences during the University of Oxford’s Meeting Minds alumni weekend.

On Sunday, 21 September, the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, home to the Nuffield Department, opened its doors to alumni and visitors for a series of guided tours. Once the Outpatients’ Department of the former Radcliffe Infirmary, the building now stands as a global centre of excellence for research and teaching in academic primary care.

Guests were invited to explore the building’s rich history and learn about its transformation into a modern hub for cutting-edge healthcare research. The tours featured displays of archival materials alongside examples of the department’s current work, bridging past and present in engaging and informative ways.
